The chapter focuses on community engagement with other communities around the Suakoko belt regarding the pollution of plastic waste and water management of a mineral water company. In 2018, they plan to raise awareness with high schools and university students about finding solutions to other environmental issues through hosting environmental conferences and promoting awareness in coastal communities (Montserrado,Bong and Grand Bass a) on mitigating ocean threats.
Gayflor Beyan Garvelee Jr
Gayflor Beyan Garvelee Jr received his high school diploma and West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate from the Phebe Community Lutheran High school with honors among his peers.
In 2013, he was given the opportunity to serve as a classroom teacher at the New Life Foundation High School of Bethel where he has been able to pass knowledge to the younger generation for the past five years now and still is contributing to the human resource capacity of his country.
He is currently a sophomore student at Cuttington University situated in Suakoko, Gbarnga City, Bong County, Liberia studying International Relations with concentration in Global Crisis Management and minoring in Peace and Development studies, and is also the program manager of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance Cuttington University chapter.
